Same channel. Different market mechanics.
Finance categories share a high trust threshold. They do not share the same buyer, SERP, product structure or route to revenue. The strategy starts with those differences.

Forex and CFD brokers
Capture traders comparing spreads, leverage and regulation before an affiliate hands them to a competitor and invoices you for it.
◆ Multi-jurisdiction, affiliate-saturated, and every commercial term is a paid battleground.
Proprietary trading firms
Reach traders while they are comparing challenge fees, drawdown rules and payout terms, not after they have read a review site.
◆ Offers change monthly, trust is the whole purchase, and reputation searches decide it.
Crypto exchanges
Rank on fees, listings and security questions in markets where the regulatory answer changes faster than the content calendar.
◆ Enormous page counts, thin-content risk, and geo-restriction complexity.
Trading platforms
Own the platform comparison and integration searches your broker partners and their affiliates are currently answering for you.
◆ Two audiences at once: traders evaluating tools, and firms evaluating infrastructure.
Payments and fintech
Be found during long B2B evaluation cycles where the buying committee researches pricing, compliance and integration separately.
◆ Low volume, very high value, and the decision is made across several roles.
Investment and wealth platforms
Answer fee, product and suitability questions credibly enough to satisfy both a cautious investor and a quality rater.
◆ The purest YMYL category in finance. Authority is not optional.
Financial services
Rank in trust-gated categories where the content has to survive legal review, a compliance sign-off and a quality update.
◆ Long approval chains and a very low tolerance for marketing language.
Finance affiliates
Defend comparison and review rankings against brands finally taking their own organic search seriously.
◆ You compete with the merchants you promote, and with each other, on the same terms.
Selection rule
Specialism should change the diagnosis
A broker site is shaped by entities, licences and affiliate SERPs. A payments platform is shaped by integration language and a buying committee. A finance publisher competes with the brands it monetises.
If the same audit produces the same plan for all three, the specialism is decorative. Our industry pages show the actual constraints and the search clusters that matter in each category.
Diagnosis inputs
Six variables that change the plan
Two finance businesses can share a size, a budget and a marketing team and still need completely different work. These are the variables that decide it.
Buyer
An individual comparing account costs, or a committee assessing integration risk and vendor viability. The second needs documentation, the first needs fees and trust.
Decision length
A same-day account opening and a nine-month enterprise procurement require different content, different proof and different measurement windows.
SERP composition
Whether the first page is held by brands, affiliate publishers, regulators, forums or marketplaces determines whether a position is winnable at all.
Trust requirement
Licensing, custody, protections and complaint routes matter more in some categories than others, and rank differently in the search demand.
Product architecture
Multi-entity brokers, tiered platform products and exchange asset lists each create a different indexation problem.
Conversion event
A funded account, a verified deposit, an approved merchant account and a subscribed publisher are not comparable outcomes. The reporting has to follow the right one.
Positioning question
Which market are you actually in?
Finance businesses frequently describe themselves in language their market does not use. A payments company calls itself a fintech platform while its buyers search for a specific integration. A broker markets a trading platform while its prospects search for spread comparisons and withdrawal experience.
The self-description matters less than the query set. Establishing which searches the business can realistically win, and which of those sit near a commercial outcome, is the first job of an audit. It routinely changes the answer to a question the marketing team thought was settled.
This is also where a category-creation problem becomes visible. Where no established demand exists, the work is sales-led and the content programme should support a buying conversation rather than pretend to capture demand that is not there yet.
FAQ
Questions about market fit
Do you work across B2B and B2C finance?
Yes, and the two are treated as different problems. A consumer broker competes for comparison and trust queries with a fast decision cycle. A payments or infrastructure platform competes for integration and capability queries decided by a committee. The research method is shared; the page types, proof requirements and measurement are not.
What if we operate in several categories at once?
That is common for larger groups. The market is split by product line and entity rather than by brand, because a single strategy across unrelated products usually produces vague pages that rank for nothing.
Can you work with a category that barely has search volume?
Sometimes, and sometimes the honest answer is that search is the wrong channel for that product. Category creation problems are real, and they are usually solved by a sales-led motion first. Where a category has no established search demand, the audit will say so rather than build content nobody looks for.
Do you take on work outside financial services?
No. The value of the specialism is knowing what a compliance reviewer will reject, how a licensing structure shapes a page set and which comparison publishers defend a SERP. That knowledge does not transfer to other categories.
